Description
A comforting slow cooker soup with chicken, gnocchi, and fresh spinach, perfect for busy families.
Ingredients
- 1 lb Boneless and skinless chicken breast or thighs
- 1 package Gnocchi (fresh or store-bought)
- 2 cups Fresh spinach
- 1/2 cup Heavy cream
- 4 cups Chicken or vegetable broth (low sodium)
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- 1 tsp Garlic powder
Instructions
- Gather and prepare all ingredients. In the slow cooker, place the chicken and add seasoning to your liking. Pour in the broth until it covers the chicken fully.
- Cook on low for several hours, about 6 to 8, until the chicken is easily shredded with a fork.
- Add the gnocchi and stir in the cream. Allow to bubble for approximately 15-20 minutes until the gnocchi is tender.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh herbs or grated cheese.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days, or freeze without cream for longer storage.
