Description
Hearty and flavorful slow cooker sliders made with tender beef simmered in rich spices, perfect for family gatherings.
Ingredients
- 2 lbs Chuck roast
- 3 Dried guajillo chiles
- 2 Dried ancho chiles
- 1 Sweet onion, chopped
- 4 cloves Fresh garlic, minced
- 4 cups Beef broth
- 8 Cheese sliders
Instructions
- Gather and prepare all ingredients; chop the onion and garlic, and rinse the dried chiles, removing the seeds for a smoother sauce.
- Combine the chuck roast, onion, garlic, and dried chiles in your slow cooker. Add enough broth to cover the meat, then set to cook on low for several hours until fork-tender.
- Shred the beef with two forks and return it to the slow cooker to absorb spices for another hour.
- Build your sliders with the tender beef and your choice of cheese, cooking them briefly to melt the cheese. Serve warm.
Notes
Use fresh ingredients for better flavor, and consider toasting the dried chiles before use.
