A refreshing homemade electrolyte drink bursting with natural flavors, ideal for hydrating after outdoor activities.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsweetened coconut water
  • 1-2 teaspoons pure maple syrup (optional)
  • 1/8-1/4 teaspoon unrefined mineral salt
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice (from 1 lemon) or juice from 2 limes
  • 2-3 cups ice cubes (for serving)
  • 1/2 cup frozen unsweetened wild blueberries or 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • 2 cups watermelon, chopped
  • 1 cup cucumber, chopped
  • 1 cup green apple, chopped
  • 2 cups chopped honeydew
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened apple cider
  • Cinnamon and/or nutmeg (optional for sprinkling)
  • Fresh apple slices for garnish


Instructions

  1. Gather all your ingredients on the countertop, creating an inviting workspace.
  2. Blend all ingredients (except the ice) in a high-speed blender for about one minute until smooth.
  3. If you prefer traditional sweetness, add maple syrup to the blending mix.
  4. Pour the drink through a mini strainer over a glass filled with ice.
  5. Fill the glass to the top, then use a glass straw to stir gently.
  6. Enjoy immediately.

Notes

This drink can be prepared in advance and stored in the refrigerator for up to 48 hours. Adjust sweetness to taste with fresh fruits available.
