Ingredients

  • 8 ounces pasta (e.g., spaghetti or fettuccine)
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (e.g., mozzarella or parmesan)
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  4. Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook until pink and cooked through.
  5. Stir in the heavy cream and half of the shredded cheese. Season with salt and pepper.
  6. Combine the cooked pasta with the shrimp mixture and mix well.
  7. Transfer the pasta and shrimp mixture to a baking dish, top with remaining cheese and grated parmesan.
