Description

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 12 to 16 ounces cold water
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • A pinch of salt
  • Optional: a few cucumber slices or a splash of coconut water


Instructions

  1. Add cold water and chia seeds to a large glass or jar. Stir for 20 to 30 seconds to prevent clumping.
  2. Let it rest for 5 minutes, then stir again.
  3. Mix in lemon juice, honey, and salt. Stir until well combined.
  4. Let it sit for another 10 minutes until it thickens slightly.
  5. Serve in a tall glass, garnish with cucumber slices or coconut water if desired.
