Description

Ingredients

  • 4 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix sliced strawberries with 1/2 cup sugar and cornstarch in a bowl. Pour into a greased baking dish.
  3. Combine flour, baking powder, salt, and remaining sugar in another bowl. Stir in milk and melted butter until just combined.
  4. Spoon the batter over the strawberries, spreading it evenly.
  5. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until golden brown.
  6. Let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy!
