Ingredients
- 4 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Mix sliced strawberries with 1/2 cup sugar and cornstarch in a bowl. Pour into a greased baking dish.
- Combine flour, baking powder, salt, and remaining sugar in another bowl. Stir in milk and melted butter until just combined.
- Spoon the batter over the strawberries, spreading it evenly.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy!
