Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, cream the softened butter and powdered sugar together until light and fluffy.
- Mix in the peppermint extract.
- Gradually add the flour and salt, mixing until combined.
- Fold in the crushed peppermint candies.
- Roll the dough into small balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Flatten each ball slightly with the palm of your hand.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
- Once cooled, dust with powdered sugar before serving.
