Delightful orange-infused chocolate truffles perfect for holiday gatherings.
Ingredients
- 1 cup dark chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup orange zest
- 1 teaspoon orange extract
- Cocoa powder or crushed nuts for coating
Instructions
- In a saucepan, heat the heavy cream until just boiling.
- Remove from heat and stir in the dark chocolate chips until melted and smooth.
- Add the orange zest and orange extract, mixing until well combined.
- Refrigerate the mixture for about 60-120 minutes until firm.
- Once firm, use a melon baller or your hands to form small balls of the mixture.
- Roll the truffles in cocoa powder or crushed nuts to coat.
- Place the truffles in a festive box or on a platter to serve. Enjoy!
Notes
For a dairy-free version, substitute heavy cream with coconut cream. You can also experiment with different coatings and flavor variations.
