Description

Delightful cookies infused with the warmth of maple and cinnamon, complemented by rich white chocolate for a comforting treat.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup pure maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup white chocolate melting wafers
  • Holly berry sprinkles for decoration

Instructions

  1. Prepare the maple cinnamon cookie dough and refrigerate for a minimum of 30 minutes.
  2. Portion the dough into desired size dough balls (1.5 oz for uniform cookies).
  3. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  4. Bake the cookies for 12-15 minutes until golden edges form and centers are soft but set.
  5. Allow cookies to cool before decorating.
  6. Melt white chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl at half power.
  7. Dip half of each cooled cookie into melted white chocolate and place on wax or parchment paper to set.
  8. Drizzle additional melted white chocolate over the dipped portion and add holly berry sprinkles before the drizzle hardens.

Notes

Using fresh, high-quality maple syrup enhances flavor. Room temperature ingredients yield a fluffier dough.
