Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup pure maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 large egg
- 1 cup white chocolate melting wafers
- Holly berry sprinkles for decoration
Instructions
- Prepare the maple cinnamon cookie dough and refrigerate for a minimum of 30 minutes.
- Portion the dough into desired size dough balls (1.5 oz for uniform cookies).
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Bake the cookies for 12-15 minutes until golden edges form and centers are soft but set.
- Allow cookies to cool before decorating.
- Melt white chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl at half power.
- Dip half of each cooled cookie into melted white chocolate and place on wax or parchment paper to set.
- Drizzle additional melted white chocolate over the dipped portion and add holly berry sprinkles before the drizzle hardens.
