  • 1 small head of cabbage, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 inch ginger, minced
  • 3 green onions, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: red pepper flakes for heat


Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat sesame oil over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  2. Add minced garlic and ginger, sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up as it cooks.
  4. Season with salt, pepper, and soy sauce, mixing well.
  5. Stir in chopped cabbage and cook until tender but still crisp, about 5-7 minutes.

Notes

Use fresh garlic and ginger for the best flavor. You can swap half the ground beef for ground pork for added richness.
