Description
A refreshing tonic that combines lemon, ginger, and apple cider vinegar for a bright, tangy lift, perfect for hydration and a healthy routine.
Ingredients
- 12 to 16 oz cold water
- 1 to 2 tsp apple cider vinegar (start small)
- 1 to 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 1 pinch of cinnamon (optional)
- 2 to 3 thin ginger slices or a small pinch of ground ginger
- Ice
- Optional: cucumber slices
- Optional: mint
- Optional: a tiny bit of stevia
Instructions
- Measure the water into a tall glass or small pitcher. Use cold water for a crisp mouthfeel.
- Add 1 teaspoon of apple cider vinegar first. Start small. Taste after you stir.
- Squeeze 1 tablespoon of fresh lemon juice into the water.
- Drop in the thin ginger slices. Let them steep for a minute or two.
- Add a pinch of cinnamon if you want warmth. It’s optional but cozy.
- Fill the glass with ice.
- Stir for 10 to 15 seconds until the flavors look blended.
- Taste it, and adjust as needed.
- If it’s too tart, add another teaspoon of water or a tiny pinch of stevia.
- Serve immediately in a chilled glass or keep it in the fridge for up to a day.
Notes
Start small with apple cider vinegar and adjust to taste. Fresh lemon juice makes a significant difference in aroma and flavor.
