Ingredients
- 1 pound Italian sausage
- 4 strips bacon, chopped
- 2 cups fresh spinach
- 2 cans cannellini beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large pot, cook the sausage and bacon over medium heat until browned.
- Add the onion and garlic, cooking until softened.
- Stir in the cannellini beans and chicken broth.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes.
- Add the spinach and Italian seasoning; season with salt and pepper.
- Heat until spinach is wilted, then serve.
