Ingredients

  • 1 pound Italian sausage
  • 4 strips bacon, chopped
  • 2 cups fresh spinach
  • 2 cans cannellini beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. In a large pot, cook the sausage and bacon over medium heat until browned.
  2. Add the onion and garlic, cooking until softened.
  3. Stir in the cannellini beans and chicken broth.
  4. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes.
  5. Add the spinach and Italian seasoning; season with salt and pepper.
  6. Heat until spinach is wilted, then serve.
