Description

Delicious stuffed bell peppers filled with creamy ricotta and fresh herbs, perfect for a cozy family meal.


Ingredients

  • 4 large bell peppers
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup fresh herbs (basil, parsley, thyme), chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for drizzling


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cut the tops off the bell peppers and remove the seeds.
  3. In a bowl, mix together the ricotta, Parmesan, chopped herbs, minced garlic, salt, and pepper until creamy.
  4. Stuff the pepper halves generously with the ricotta mixture.
  5. Place the stuffed peppers in a baking dish, drizzle with olive oil, and cover with foil.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, until the peppers are tender.
  7. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes to brown the tops slightly.
  8. Serve warm as a comforting side dish.
