Ingredients
- 1 cup almond flour
- 2 tablespoons coconut sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 large egg
- 2 tablespoons melted coconut oil
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Cooking spray for air fryer
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix almond flour, coconut sugar, cinnamon, salt, and baking powder.
- In another bowl, whisk together the egg, melted coconut oil, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients until a dough forms, adjusting with almond flour or water as needed.
- Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C) for about 5 minutes.
- Form the dough into small bites, about the size of a tablespoon.
- Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray and place the churro bites inside, leaving space between each.
- Cook for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown, shaking the basket halfway through.
- Dust with cinnamon and coconut sugar while warm, then serve.
Notes
Use fresh almond flour for the best texture. Keep in mind that these bites hold up well for a crowd and can be stored in an airtight container or frozen.
