Description

A fun and creative twist on a classic grilled cheese, perfect for busy families and quick meals.


Ingredients

  • 6 slices of bread
  • 1 cup thinly shredded cheese (American works wonderfully)
  • 6 thin slices of ham (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons of butter


Instructions

  1. Trim the crust off the bread.
  2. Roll the bread flat with a rolling pin or your hands.
  3. Sprinkle shredded cheese generously on top.
  4. If using ham, place it on top of the cheese.
  5. Roll it up tightly, using toothpicks if needed.
  6. Heat a skillet over medium heat and melt the butter.
  7. Carefully place the rolled-up sandwiches in the pan and cook for 5 to 8 minutes, turning periodically.
  8. Remove from the skillet and cut in half if preferred.
  9. Serve right away and enjoy!

Notes

Feel free to add fresh basil or spinach for added flavor. Experiment with different cheeses and vegetables for variety.
