Ingredients
- 1 box of butter cake mix
- 1 cup of chopped pecans
- 1 cup of unsalted butter (melted)
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup of corn syrup
- 1 cup of brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine melted butter, eggs, corn syrup, brown sugar, vanilla extract, and salt. Mix until well combined.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish.
- Sprinkle the dry cake mix evenly over the top, then sprinkle with chopped pecans.
- Drizzle any remaining melted butter over the cake mix.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the center is set.
