Ingredients

  • 1 pound carrots, peeled and cut into sticks
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the carrots, butter, brown sugar, honey, salt, and pepper.
  3. Toss until the carrots are well coated.
  4. Spread the carrots out in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  5. Roast in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until the carrots are tender and lightly caramelized, stirring halfway through.
  6. Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh parsley if desired. Serve warm alongside your favorite main course.

Notes
