Ingredients
- 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 3 large egg whites
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract for whipped cream
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Melt the chocolate chips over low heat, stirring until smooth.
- In a bowl, mix the granulated sugar, brown sugar, vanilla extract, and salt.
- Add the melted chocolate and stir to combine.
- Slowly add the egg whites one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Drop spoonfuls of the mixture onto a lined baking sheet, spacing them about two inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until the cookies are set but still soft.
- While the cookies cool, whip the heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until soft peaks form.
- Once the cookies are cool, top each with a dollop of whipped cream.
