Description
A quick and comforting salmon recipe with a sweet and savory honey garlic glaze, perfect for busy weeknight dinners.
Ingredients
- 4 salmon fillets (skin-on)
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
- 3 cloves garlic (minced)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Chopped green onions (for garnish)
Instructions
- Rinse the salmon fillets under cold water and pat them dry. Lay them skin-side down on a clean towel to remove extra moisture.
- In a bowl, mix honey, soy sauce, and minced garlic to create the glaze. Stir until the honey dissolves a little.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook salmon skin-side down for about 4 minutes until golden brown, pressing gently with a spatula.
- Flip the fillets, brush half of the glaze on top, and cook for another 3-4 minutes until fully cooked.
- Drizzle remaining glaze over the salmon and garnish with chopped green onions before serving. Allow the salmon to rest for a minute before serving.
Notes
Rinse and pat dry the salmon well. Let the salmon rest for one minute after cooking. Watch for golden edges while cooking.
