- 2 cups apples, peeled and sliced
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, sugar, ground cinnamon, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla extract. Mix until well combined.
- Fold in the sliced apples and nuts (if using).
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it out evenly.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool in the pan for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
