Ingredients
- 4 cups fresh corn kernels (or frozen corn)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/4 cup milk
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- 1 teaspoon sugar (optional)
- Chopped fresh herbs (such as parsley or chives) for garnish
Instructions
- In a large saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.
- Add the corn kernels and sauté for 2-3 minutes until tender.
- Stir in the heavy cream and milk, and bring to a simmer.
- Season with salt, pepper, and sugar if desired.
- Cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the mixture thickens.
- Garnish with chopped fresh herbs before serving.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days. To reheat, add a splash of milk and warm gently.
