Description

Delightful Cookies and Cream cookies filled with white chocolate and crunchy Oreo pieces.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup + 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 3/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter (softened, at room temperature)
  • 1/2 cup plus 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 10 Oreo or chocolate sandwich cookies (coarsely chopped)
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Line baking sheets with parchment paper or silicone mats.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the flour, cornstarch, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, beat together the softened butter and granulated sugar until creamy.
  4. Add the egg and vanilla, mixing until smooth. Scrape down sides as needed.
  5. Reduce speed to low and gradually add the dry mixture to the wet mixture until just combined.
  6. Fold in the chopped Oreos and white chocolate chips.
  7. Scoop the dough using a small cookie scoop, round it, and gently press down each dough ball.
  8. Bake for 8-10 minutes or until the edges are set. Cookies may look underbaked in the center.
  9. Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.

Notes

Store any leftovers in an airtight container to keep them fresh and chewy. They can also be frozen for about a month.
