Description
Delightful Cookies and Cream cookies filled with white chocolate and crunchy Oreo pieces.
Ingredients
- 1 cup + 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch
- 3/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter (softened, at room temperature)
- 1/2 cup plus 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 10 Oreo or chocolate sandwich cookies (coarsely chopped)
- 1/2 cup white chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Line baking sheets with parchment paper or silicone mats.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the flour, cornstarch, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat together the softened butter and granulated sugar until creamy.
- Add the egg and vanilla, mixing until smooth. Scrape down sides as needed.
- Reduce speed to low and gradually add the dry mixture to the wet mixture until just combined.
- Fold in the chopped Oreos and white chocolate chips.
- Scoop the dough using a small cookie scoop, round it, and gently press down each dough ball.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes or until the edges are set. Cookies may look underbaked in the center.
- Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.
Notes
Store any leftovers in an airtight container to keep them fresh and chewy. They can also be frozen for about a month.
