Description
A rich and forgiving Christmas Fudge recipe that is perfect for busy families and seasonal celebrations.
Ingredients
- 1 can (14 ounce) sweetened condensed milk
- 3 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
- ¼ cup butter (salted or unsalted)
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 2-3 tablespoons Christmas sprinkles
Instructions
- Prepare an 8×8 baking pan by lining it with parchment paper (or aluminum foil) and then spray it with non-stick cooking spray. Set aside.
- Microwave the chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and butter in a medium bowl for 30-second intervals until the chocolate melts, stirring until creamy between intervals.
- Add the vanilla extract to the melted chocolate mixture and stir to combine.
- Pour the fudge into the prepared pan and smooth it with a rubber spatula into an even layer. Top with festive sprinkles.
- Place the fudge in the refrigerator to set for about 2 hours. Once set, cut it into 1-inch pieces.
Notes
Watch the chocolate closely in the microwave to prevent burning. Use good chocolate chips for better flavor. Chill properly before cutting for clean slices.
