Description

Delicious chocolate cookies filled with creamy chocolate ganache, perfect for family gatherings and special occasions.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate ganache (for center)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  5. Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough and roll them into balls. Place them on the baking sheet, spaced apart.
  6. Make an indent in the center of each cookie using your thumb or the back of a teaspoon.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are set.
  8. Cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
  9. Fill each thumbprint with chocolate ganache. Serve and enjoy!

Notes
