Description
Delightful and chewy cookies infused with sweet maple flavor and warm cinnamon, finished with a creamy white chocolate dip.
Ingredients
- 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup brown sugar
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- ½ cup pure maple syrup
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup white chocolate melting wafers
- Red and green holly berry sprinkles for decoration
Instructions
- Prepare the maple cinnamon cookie dough and refrigerate for a minimum of 30 minutes.
- Portion the dough into desired size dough balls, about 1.5 oz each.
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) while the dough chills. Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Bake the cookies for about 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
- Allow the cookies to cool on a wire rack before decorating.
- Melt the white chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl at half power.
- Dip half of the cooled cookie into the melted white chocolate and place on wax or parchment paper.
- Drizzle additional melted white chocolate over the dipped portion and add sprinkles before it sets.
- Let the chocolate-dipped portion harden before serving.
Notes
Use high-quality maple syrup and melting wafers for best results. Experiment with sprinkles for different themes!
