Delightful and chewy cookies infused with maple and cinnamon, complemented by creamy white chocolate.


Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips or melting wafers
  • Optional: holly berry sprinkles for decoration


Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt.
  2. In another bowl, beat softened butter with brown and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Mix in the maple syrup and egg, then add vanilla extract and stir until well combined.
  4. Gradually incorporate the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
  5. Cover the dough and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  6. Use a food scale to measure out 1.5 oz of dough for each cookie and form into balls.
  7. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and place dough balls on lined baking sheets, spaced apart.
  8. Bake for about 10-12 minutes until edges are golden but centers look soft.
  9. Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheets.
  10. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt white chocolate wafers at half power, stirring every 30 seconds.
  11. Dip half of each cooled cookie into the melted white chocolate and place on wax or parchment paper to dry.
  12. Drizzle melted chocolate over the dipped cookies and add holly berry sprinkles before it sets.
