Ingredients
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup white chocolate chips or melting wafers
- Optional: holly berry sprinkles for decoration
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, beat softened butter with brown and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Mix in the maple syrup and egg, then add vanilla extract and stir until well combined.
- Gradually incorporate the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
- Cover the dough and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
- Use a food scale to measure out 1.5 oz of dough for each cookie and form into balls.
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and place dough balls on lined baking sheets, spaced apart.
- Bake for about 10-12 minutes until edges are golden but centers look soft.
- Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheets.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt white chocolate wafers at half power, stirring every 30 seconds.
- Dip half of each cooled cookie into the melted white chocolate and place on wax or parchment paper to dry.
- Drizzle melted chocolate over the dipped cookies and add holly berry sprinkles before it sets.
