A quick and fun take on the classic Big Mac, these wraps are perfect for busy families looking for a cozy meal without the drive-thru.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp finely chopped dill pickles
- 1 tbsp yellow mustard
- 1 tsp white vinegar
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp onion powder
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
- 4 large flour tortillas
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- Dill pickle slices (optional)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Prepare the Special Sauce: Combine mayonnaise, dill pickles, yellow mustard, white vinegar, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder in a bowl. Stir until thickened and taste for seasoning.
- Cook the Beef: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add onion and cook until golden. Add ground beef, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned. Stir in half the special sauce.
- Assemble the Wraps: Lay a tortilla flat, spread remaining sauce, spoon on warm beef, then add lettuce and cheese. Top with pickles if using.
- Wrap and Serve: Fold the sides and roll the tortilla snugly. Heat in a skillet seam-side down until crisp. Serve warm with extra sauce for dipping.
Notes
For a lighter version, swap out mayonnaise with Greek yogurt. Use lean turkey or plant-based substitutes for a vegetarian option. Leftovers store well and taste even better the next day.
