Ingredients
- 1 pound Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
- 4 slices of bacon, cut into small pieces
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, toss the halved Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
- Spread them on a baking sheet in a single layer.
- Scatter the bacon pieces over the Brussels sprouts.
- Roast in the oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until the Brussels sprouts are tender and crispy and the bacon is cooked.
- Drizzle with balsamic vinegar if desired before serving.
Notes
For best results, use fresh Brussels sprouts and quality bacon. Consider variations like adding nuts or different types of vinegar.
